Protocol · Indication
The hypermelanogenesis protocol.
For melasma, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and lentigines. Two products, two roles, sixteen weeks, then maintenance.
What this protocol addresses
Hypermelanogenesis means the skin produces more melanin than it needs in one area, and keeps doing so. It shows as melasma, as marks left after acne or irritation, or as defined sun spots. The excess pigment sits in the skin rather than on it, which is why surface products alone rarely hold the result.
Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation
Marks left after acne, irritation or injury.
Lentigines
Defined sun spots on chronically exposed areas.
Two roles, not two products
Correction · topical
CYSPERA INTENSIVE™
Once a day on clean, dry skin. Start with five minutes of contact, build to fifteen, then rinse. Daily for sixteen weeks, then twice a week as maintenance.
Support · oral, Tyrocutin
シスペラ インテンシブ™
Four capsules a day for the first three months, then two. It works from the inside, on what the topical step cannot reach.
You can start with Intensive alone. Total Skin is what changes the recurrence, and recurrence is why most people end up on this page.
Week by week, what to expect
Tolerance
Build contact time from five to fifteen minutes. Slight tingling is expected, burning is not.
First change
Tone starts to even before the patches lighten. Photograph in the same light.
Correction
The visible work happens here. This is where most people stop too early.
Maintenance
Twice a week, plus daily protection. Without this step it comes back.
What supports it
Total Skin is a first in class oral solution for pigment correction. It addresses pigment directly, it helps prevent the triggers that cause excess pigment in the skin, and it supports repair.
Who this protocol is not for
Right after a procedure
Wait until the skin has fully recovered from a peel, laser or microneedling.
Very reactive skin
Start with the sensitive protocol instead, then move to Intensive once the skin tolerates it.
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Speak to a professional before starting any active correction.
Before you start
Do I need both products?
No. You can start with Intensive alone, and many people do. Intensive corrects what is visible. Total Skin works from the inside on what drives the pigment, which is what changes how often it comes back.
Can I add the products one at a time?
Yes. Use Add one at a time, or open each product page. The protocol total is simply the products together.
What if it stings?
A slight tingling in the first weeks is expected. Burning is not: rinse, and go back to a shorter contact time. If it persists, switch to the sensitive protocol.
What happens after sixteen weeks?
Intensive moves to twice a week as maintenance, Total Skin continues at the lower dose, and daily sun protection stays. Most recurrence happens when this step is skipped.
Can I use it with a retinoid or an acid?
Not in the same step. The correction product is applied on its own, left on for its contact time, then rinsed. Anything else in your routine comes after that, and not on the same evening while you are still building tolerance.
Is it safe on deeper skin tones?
Cyspera is formulated for all skin tones. Deeper skin is more prone to marks left by irritation, so build the contact time slowly and keep other actives out of the same evening.
Start the hypermelanogenesis protocol
Intensive and Total Skin, as one sixteen week routine.
